George Orwell's classic 1984 is my favorite book of all-time. This classic has received countless cover treatments already, so I tried to bring my own approach to designing a book cover for it, beyond the canonical images of the single eye and Big Brother. I decided to parallel its reputation as a forewarning from the past with its relevance to today's major concerns about digital information and privacy. This book cover design captures the idea of telescreens/computers surveilling infinitely. They are everywhere, always watching, and an interconnected network of the government's watchful force. The computer itself is inspired by the Macintosh 2, since it came out around the 1980s.
